Using AI to Close the Knowing-Doing Gap
This workshop is designed to equip educators with practical, AI-leveraged strategies to bridge the gap between knowing how to implement student-centered instruction and actually doing it effectively in the classroom—the infamous knowing-doing gap.
Participants will learn how:
AI tools can serve as a personalized instructional coach to enhance teachers' capacity and support a sustainable transition from teacher-centered to student-centered instruction across classrooms. Implement AI-Driven Feedback Loops: Explore methods for using AI to provide teachers with timely, objective, and specific feedback on their attempts to implement new strategies. This targeted feedback will be the key mechanism for closing the professional learning and application gap, ensuring that professional development translates directly into improved classroom practice.
